A WESTERN AUSTRALIAN ICON COMES TO BEAU

Established in 1969, Moss Wood in Margaret River’s Wilyabrup sub-region is renowned for its world-class Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

The Mugford family, associated since 1979, now owns and oversees the estate, with Keith as winemaker and Clare leading viticulture. Their sons Tristan and Hugh have also joined the business.

Moss Wood’s wines are some of the most revered and collected, with the Cabernet Sauvignon in particular often compared to the finest wines of  Bordeaux. It has earned the ‘exceptional’ ranking since 1991 in Langton’s Classification of Australian Wine. Additionally, the estate produces outstanding but lesser-known single-varietal Semillon and also the Elsa Sauvignon Blanc, recognised for their complexity and quality.

Join Tristan Mugford on Tuesday, 30th April, as he shares with you the history of Moss Wood, and we taste through a range of some of Margaret River’s finest wines.
